The Superfood Geeks

Maybe you’re like us and you find arm wrestling with your kids to eat healthier simply exhausting. Or trying to squeeze in 7-9 servings of fruits and veggies practically impossible.  Sometimes you just don’t have time to cook an amazingly healthy meal that deserves a round of applause. Maybe you’re like us and you’re happy to eat anything for breakfast. Or sometimes you just need to cheat a little with an indulgent snack or dessert. We say, go for it - but boost it up with a little bit of big nourishment. We make superfoods super-accessible so you can sneak in powerful nutrition to your everyday eating and drinking occasions.

We study the science of functional foods and try to figure out how to blend some of the world’s healthiest foods into something we can eat everyday. We aren’t necessarily against synthetic vitamins and fortified foods…but we think that real, whole food is better. We use only whole foods. Nothing artificial ever, including so-called “natural flavors” (we all know what those really are). Scientific studies are validating what ancient cultures and our grandparents believed about certain foods - they are the original glamour products for beautiful skin; the original medicine for everything from stomach ulcers to gut issues; and the original protectors of your cells so your immune system is an infection-toxin-microoganism-fighting machine.

nourish it forward

Nutrition matters more than we think. Scientific evidence shows that the right foods can improve mood and reduce anxiety, boost your natural immunity, improve concentration, learning and memory. Healthy food is more expensive, but it should be accessible to everyone. A healthy, vibrant life is the right of everyone. So we partner with schools and non-profits to give economically disadvantaged, nutritionally-vulnerable kids the boost they need to unleash their awesomeness. Better nutrition might just be the edge some kids need to concentrate before tests, to study intensely when their brain is just fried, to spark their natural creativity.
